one day down. infinity to go…

It was rainy today. Not the intense pouring spring rain that gets your blood pumping for summer, but the dreary disgusting cold rain that manages to get your shoes just wet enough to last the whole day. I was suppose to be working, but was distracted by the lack of job #2. How hard is it to get a job? There should be tons of them out there, but no. Apparently, this year is the hardest in a long time for graduating seniors to enter the work force. I shouldn’t be upset, I’m not even graduating, but next year isn’t supposed to get much better. I’ve applied for over 20 part time jobs and I’m well qualified, but not one reply. What’s a girl got to do? This is what I’m thinking… Craig’s list, monster, and yahoo jobs.. they really don’t do much. Without networking in a city like this, you have nothing. So what makes someone good at networking? Charisma? Appearance? Knowledge? I don’t really know. But I really want to find out.
