one day down. infinity to go…

Today is a special day. It’s the last day of finals, my last night in the cramped closet that schools call dorm rooms, and the beginning of my first summer in nyc. Within the next few weeks I’ll be moving into my first apartment in
Astoria: the only affordable neighborhood left; I’ll be left to find a second job, learn how to live with my new roommates, and hopefully make some new friends along the way. Until then, I’m stuck on a futon at my friend’s apartment in the financial district. This is my life, take it or leave it. I spend money I don’t have, on things I don’t need; I procrastinate to the fullest extent and I make tons of mistakes. My friends are what keep my journey interesting and I wouldn’t have it any other way.
